Office of Records & Document Access
The Executivesecuritydirectorate Office issues documents to verified account holders. Each request is reviewed and decided by a named administrator, and every refusal comes with a written reason.
What this office does, and the controls that apply to each function.
Controlled PDFs are released to account holders individually, once an administrator has approved the request on record.
Every account is protected by a hashed password, a session that rotates on sign in, and CSRF checks on every submission.
Administrators record a decision against each request. Nothing is released automatically and nothing is released in bulk.
Your dashboard reports how many devices currently hold an active session on your account, so you can spot what you do not recognise.
Files are held outside the public web root and streamed only to the approved account that requested them.
Where a request cannot be granted, the reason and the next step are written by the reviewing administrator, not generated.
Standing terms that apply to every account on this service.
Standing notice
An approval recorded against one document does not extend to any other. Each request is reviewed on its own record.
Standing notice
Requesting a document you have not been approved for returns a written explanation from the reviewing administrator. Direct links are refused in the same way.
Security
Repeated failed sign-in attempts are rate limited by email address and network address. Select “Remember me” to stay signed in between browser sessions.
Three steps, and no paper forms.
Provide a name, an email address and a password of at least eight characters. You are signed in immediately.
Published documents are listed with their current status. Locked entries state what is outstanding.
When an administrator approves your account for a document, the download becomes available on the same screen.
Listing and release are separate. A document appears once it is published; the download unlocks only when an administrator has recorded an approval against your account for that specific document.
An administrator reviews each account individually and records a decision. Where access is refused, the administrator writes the reason you are shown.
Yes. A decision can be revised at any time, and the change takes effect on your next attempt to download.
Password reset is not yet available on this service. Until it is, an administrator must set a new password on your behalf.
